Collect and personal family documents (passports, medical insurance, dental, birth and marriage certificates, insurance policies etc.)  Manage the trip for your pet  Cancel any subscriptions or membership with local providers: -Newspaper, magazine, water, gas/electricity, telephone, Internet, rubbish collection, garden or pool servicing, etc.  Let everyone know of your knew address and relocation at www.grupoamygo.com/postal/ to: family, friends, credit card companies, insurance companies

Request written prescription for medications from doctor (in case these are requested at customs)  Cancel any gym or club memberships  Think of best place to keep pets on day of move.

 1 WEEK BEFORE MOVE   go up^

Switch of fridge and freezer  Eat any perishable food  Sort out children for day of move  Transfer current account funds to new bank accounts and empty oil from equipment that is to be transferred (such as lawnmower, motorcycles, compressors, etc.)  Decide which belongings must be taken by air and which are of most importance and will be needed upon arrival in country of destination.  Close safes. All valuables you must carry yourself.  Gather all important documents for the journey such as passports  Keep in mind that no inflammable or explosive materials or dissolvent paints, gas bottles can be transported.  Pack  Keep all necessary items for day of move at hand (clothes, sanitary products, medicines, etc...) and that won’t be transferred by removal service company

You must be available on the day of the move to check and supervise the drawing up of the inventory. Remember to keep a copy of the inventory and despatch note  Check all rooms of the house.

   Inform removal service company of date of arrival to country of destination and new address.

   You will have to be present to check the delivery of all your belongings, show in which rooms they must be placed and check and sign the inventory.
